Ms Mamta Sauda achieved the milestone of scaling the Mount Everest by her hard work and dedication. She also asked about her future plans for expedition and hoped for continuous success. Ms Mamta said that it was a tough job for her as she had not much experience in climbing on the world’s highest peak but it had been made possible with the blessings of her fore fathers with great heritage of Mulnivasi culture.

Lofty peaks were not part of the backdrop where Mamta Sauda grew up, yet mountains have always been an intrinsic part of her life. Born and bred in the Mulnivasi family in the town of Kaithal, a few hours drive from Chandigarh, the 30-year-old is a skilled mountaineer who, on March 22, had joined an international team of 15 participants on an expedition to scale Mount Everest. Sauda was an alumnus of Nehru Institute of Mountaineering in Uttaranachal.  The expedition was organised by Tread Adventure in association with Asian Trekking and Asian Adventure Travel & Tours, who are well-known for organising treks to Mount Everest,” says Sauda, the only Mulnivasi woman and one of four Indians who made it to the team.

Ms.Mamta had taken lot of pains managing all the financial crisis within her family and with her determined objective she could achieve this difficult task. She has proved herself belonging to great Mulnivasi culture.

Ms. Mamta is eldest in her family and at present doing M.Phil in Kurushetra university.  She is also working as lecturer in Shahid Baba Veer Singh College in Fatehabad. Her brother is advocate and other one Engineer.

Mamta Sauda’s uncle Mr.Ramdas Sauda is feeling proud with Mamta’s great achievement. Mr. Ramdas Sauda is senior worker of BAMCEF and at present handling the responsibility of cashier of Kaithal district of Haryana.

Mulnivasi Organiser Parivar extends the best wishes to Ms.Mamta Sauda on this great achievement. On her achievement, BAMCEF representatives Mr.Suresh Dravid and Mr.Manoj Nag went personally and meet Ms.Mamta Sauda and conveyed the best wishes of Mulnivasi Bahajn Society.
